Red Seal Round Tea, also known as Modern Pu'er Tribute Tea, was first produced in 1940 when Fan Hejun founded the Fohai Tea Factory. The inside of the tea cake is uniformly marked in red, and the front of the outer paper of the tea cake is printed with the logo of "Bazhong Tea" China Tea Company. Within the circle composed of eight "zhong" characters, there is a red "cha" character. Among the Pu erh tea products produced by China Tea Company, only the red stamped Pu erh round tea and the red stamped Yunnan Tuo tea are those with the "Eight Middle Tea" logo and the word "tea" in red.
The 'Great Red Seal' is not just a tea product, it carries more of the firm attitude of Chinese tea people who can persist and move forward even in the face of difficulties.
'Engraved history' is the sentiment expressed by old tea drinkers towards the 'Red Seal Round Tea' of the 1950s, which contains emotions that younger tea drinkers may not be able to understand. Infused with this reluctant memory, 64 years later today, Yunnan Zhongcha Tea Industry Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Yuncha Company") has decided to put this emotion into action and create a new product of Zhongcha Pu'er called "Big Red Seal", which completely restores the "Red Seal Round Tea" of the 1950s and presents it to everyone again.
The new product of Zhongcha Pu'er tea, "Da Hong Yin", has a net weight of 357g/cake and is packaged in double-layer cotton paper. The outer cotton paper is engraved with the seal pattern of the text logo on the outer packaging of the "Da Hong Yin Round Tea" from the 1950s, and there is also a newspaper article about the National Tea Conference published in the People's Daily on December 6, 1949, attached to the seal. Historical materials prove that the "Da Hong Yin Round Tea" in the 1950s was a batch of Pu'er tea products manufactured after the founding of China.
Opening the outer packaging of the "Big Red Seal", it can be seen that the traditional Chinese characters "Zhongcha Brand Round Tea" and "China Tea Industry Company Yunnan Provincial Company" are engraved on the inner cotton paper, with the Eight Middle Tea logo, and the tea characters in the middle are red, completely restored 1:1 according to the Big Red Seal of the 1950s. The "Great Red Seal" has restored every detail of the "Red Seal Round Tea" so well, which shows the dedication of Yun Tea Company and also demonstrates the commemorative and collectible significance of the "Great Red Seal".
According to internal records of Yun Tea Company, in the 1950s, the raw materials for "Red Seal Round Tea" were made by purchasing private tea leaves, mainly distributed in the Lincang and Menghai tea areas, and mixed with large leaf tea leaves from Yiwu Tea Mountain. At the same time, "Red Seal Round Tea" is a batch of Pu erh tea products after the establishment of China, and its historical significance is self-evident. Therefore, the quality requirements for this tea are very strict, and the tea leaves are selected very well. Due to the fact that tea production and development were just beginning at that time, and the natural environment was still undeveloped, the raw materials used in "Red Seal Round Tea" are considered very good today. As a very good tea, it is often benchmark and experimental, and the production is not large, and it is sold to overseas markets. Therefore, "Red Seal Round Tea" can be remembered and remembered by everyone in the print grade tea products at that time with its good taste and feedback from tea friends. Even today, "Red Seal Round Tea" is still remembered and remembered by everyone. Yin Yuan tea "is still very popular among people.
Nowadays, the development process of "Red Seal" has gone through countless difficulties. In order to restore history and continue the classic, Cloud Tea Company has established a research and development team to collect tea leaves from various tea areas according to the original formula of "Red Seal Round Tea". Due to the increasing number of people going up the mountain to pick tea nowadays, the quality of tea leaves is incomparable to that of 50 years ago, which often leads to research and development difficulties in the process of developing tea products due to substandard raw materials. Tea making technicians have blended and validated the tea leaves from various tea regions countless times. After three years of dedicated research and development, they have also incorporated new tea making techniques such as kneading, traditional sun drying, and natural aging to develop the "Big Red Seal", which reproduces the taste of the "Red Seal Round Tea" from the past.
According to experienced tea enthusiasts, the "Red Seal Round Tea" tea soup, which has been aged for over 60 years, has a bright and transparent ruby red color, a rich and mellow taste, and a deep and strong aroma. As its successor product, the new product "Da Hong Yin" uses raw materials and manufacturing processes completely in accordance with the standards of the "Hong Yin Round Tea" of that year. I was fortunate enough to taste it. It has a rich honey aroma that permeates through the mountains and fields, with a golden and transparent soup color. The taste is rich and mellow, and the sweetness returns quickly. It is worth mentioning that both "Red Seal Round Tea" and "Big Red Seal" are made with wild rock tea added to their raw materials, thus both have the characteristics of profound throat flavor and strong tea aroma. I believe that with the continuous accumulation of time and the optimization of Chen Chun, "Da Hong Yin" can become or surpass the taste of "Hong Yin Round Tea" in the 1950s.
In the 1950s, "Red Seal Round Tea" was a type of seal grade tea in the early days of China's establishment, and it has become a memory of old tea lovers. Fortunately, shortly after entering the market for 15 years, Zhongcha Pu'er has launched a new product called "Big Red Seal", which not only awakens tea lovers' memories of the "Red Seal Round Tea" of the 1950s, but also allows tea lovers to appreciate the strong tea aroma of more than 60 years ago.
