       The origin of the name Nanzhao Round Tea
The Nanzhao Kingdom was established in 738 AD. The prosperous period of Nanzhao Kingdom was also the prosperous period of the Tang Empire in the Central Plains. The Nanzhao Kingdom in its heyday covered the whole territory of Yunnan and parts of Guizhou, Sichuan, Xizang, Vietnam and Myanmar.

       In the heyday of Nanzhao, its capital was today's Dali Old City. So, the Xiaguan Tea Factory located in Dali named a tea product after "Nanzhao", which has a strong historical charm.
